OBJECT RELATIONS SEMINAR

Description

Registration is now open for the Object Relations Seminar!

Our personality, our emotional world, and the bonds we form with others are built on relational experiences that take place in the earliest layers of the mind. In our first seminar on the Object Relations School, we explore this deep-rooted tradition of psychoanalysis in its theoretical depth and clinical relevance.

The program covers a broad spectrum, ranging from infancy to adult psychopathology and from individual therapy to couples and family therapy. We will explore how the inner world takes shape, the lasting imprint of early caregiver–infant interaction on psychic structure, the development of the self and the ego, processes of emotional regulation, and the transformative power of the therapeutic relationship.

Shaped as a journey from the founding figures of the field to its contemporary representatives, this program is designed for all mental health professionals who wish to carry theoretical knowledge into clinical practice.

November 14–15, 2026 (Saturday–Sunday): the seminar will be held at Masterson Institute Turkey in hybrid format, with online participation via Zoom.

The participation fee is 9,000 TL; the undergraduate student participation fee is 7,000 TL.

We invite psychotherapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and everyone working in or interested in the field of mental health to this intensive and comprehensive two-day program.

Space is limited.
