Graduate of the Department of Psychological Counseling and Guidance at Ege University. After graduating, completed military service as a reserve officer in Nusaybin, Mardin, providing psychological counseling services to military personnel. After completing training in family counseling, turned to psychoanalytically oriented work. Then completed the training and supervision in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy: The Masterson Approach, undertaking the training and supervision in English in the three-year “Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy of the Disorders of the Self” program organized by the International Masterson Institute (New York). Has also attended workshops and group supervision on personality styles, grounded in psychodynamic/psychoanalytic psychotherapy, led by Dr. Jonathan Shedler. Currently at the thesis stage of the master’s program in Guidance and Psychological Counseling at Izmir Democracy University. Has worked to date as a psychological counselor and family counselor at private counseling centers, educational institutions, and non-governmental organizations. Currently works with adults and adolescents in a private practice in Karşıyaka, Izmir, drawing on psychoanalytic therapy and the Masterson Approach, with a focus on understanding the individual’s inner world, relational patterns, and the development of the self.
